Have you bought the old version with David Soul then? I love both versions for different reasons. David Soul version is more suspenseful and slower and the newer version has a more gothic feel and Rob Lowe is excellent in the lead role. |
Yes, I bought the older version with David Soul, I spent the whole saturday to view it, and I think it worths every minute.
Although the vampire has a clear resemblance to the "nosferatu" vampire, everything is quite cool! and yes, it´s slooooowwww...

Yeah!
I think we all agree that the most shocking series (horror, sci-fi, etc.) were the ones that we saw as kids (not so many years ago )
That films/series remain strong in our minds because of that first impact.
When I saw The Exorcist, I did´nt sleep AT ALL for a week!!

Wish I'd seen Exocist when I was younger but luckily enough to see Dawn of the Dead when around 14 or 15!!!! Never slept for days planning what I'd do when disaster spread _________________ http://zombi-blogia.blogspot.co.uk/

There's a lot of films that I'd love to blank from my mind and see again for the first time on a big screen. Then there are some films I would rather just blank from my mind |

When I was 9 or 10 years old, I don't remember, my brother rented Dawn. We were alone that weekend at home. My parents were gone. My sister? I don't remember. I was so excited that I can't sleep all the weekend: I was looking through the windows looking for a signal of the Apocalipsis and moving through the rooms like a swat.
That's the way I used to see these films: Demons 1 and 2, Dawn, Phantasm, They came from within (I saw this one alone, because my brother don't let me to see it, ), Critters, etc... _________________ Peter: Just rest, man. Save your strength.

Phantasm was another I saw when quite young, another one that terrified me, especially the tall man. |
The Tall Man, for God's shake! This guy made me shiver so much!
The scene when the little boy meets him walking in the street, while his uncle is taking the ice cream out from the "fridge-car"... is so terrific...

_________________ It ain´t over ´til it´s OVER! |
