La mayoría de los científicos concuerda en que habrá una mortífera pandemia de influenza humana, pero nadie sabe cuándo o cómo llegará. Una cepa muy adaptable de gripe aviaria, conocida como H5N1, se perfila como una posible fuente.
Casi todos los casos de H5N1 en humanos se han limitado a individuos que tienen contacto con aves de corral. Sin embargo, las aves salvajes también han sido afectadas por el virus y podrían servir de vehículos para su propagación. El año pasado, en la reserva del lago Quinghai, en China, miles de ejemplares murieron infectados. Quinghai se encuentra en una encrucijada de las rutas de migración de aves que atraviesan Asia, Europa y el resto del mundo.
Al aproximarse la temporada 2006, surge nuevamente el riesgo de que las aves salvajes contribuyan a diseminar el virus por todo el mundo.

Information from the government? Naaaah!
It seems like somebody put a little make up to that 25% jeje
Down here in Latin America, the government would say that they have only budget to cover the 25% of the population, The unreported fact is that could have budget to cover 80% of the people. Sadly and surely the rest of the money ends in the pokets of the burocrats...
...Corruption is also a dangerous virus.
