Though not as good as the gas one could use a night light candle under this, maybe not as great a heat but easy to carry these small candles in there own aluminium cases. |
Very well thought Merrin! Even one of those candles makes a great "personal heating system" housed under our long coat or poncho. Well ventilated to avoid being intoxicated with CO2.
About the cooking subject... mmmhh... ...you can make a good ministove by putting together 5 or 6, but the time for, say, boiling water will be a little bit longer, it also will work. sure it will.
To hide the flame´s shining, and avoid being discovered, you can also use the shield descripted above.
Thanx for the input Father! _________________ It ain´t over ´til it´s OVER! |

I only knew of this because I had a crappy bedsit once were the cooker didn't work and the only way to make toast was with an upturned sieve with a couple of night candles underneath to toast the bread! _________________ http://zombi-blogia.blogspot.co.uk/
