Hey guys, Still I don't know if it's correct to write in English, in spanish or in both.. anyway I'll try my best in English.
Has anybody news about that terrible remake (remake=mistake in most of the cases) of our glorious father Romero's movie "Day of the dead"??
I know that theres info about it around the net (there's a vegeteranian zombie even fucking hell!) but I would like to know when is going to be released.
(I have my bittorrent ready).
Any news???
(fort pastor gone, no help coming)

The last news I have had is that the films must be reshooted because when they finished the first shoot they noticed that what they had was a holy crappy film...
Bad news, my friend. _________________ Peter: Just rest, man. Save your strength.

Yes, I didn't expect so... but this is the true. I found that info in upcoming horror movies, but now I don't find the news... _________________ Peter: Just rest, man. Save your strength.

Well, the standard still too high. The remake of night and dawn are two good references.
We hope that movie reach that level, for the sake of the zombie fandom.
Who´s the director anyway??
see you guys! _________________ It ain´t over ´til it´s OVER! |

Writer Jeffrey Reddick got in touch with got in touch with our pals over at Arrowinthehead to chat a little about Nu Image and Millennium Films' delayed remake of George Romero's classic zombie pic Day of the Dead. He tells the site, "I'm not sure when the movie's coming out. I know they're doing some reshoots very soon," he tells the website, "I'm doing the re-writing...for the most part. Steve [director Steve Miner] does like to write sometimes too though." Click the link for the full story. The original follows a group of scientists and military personnel holed up in an underground bunker because the world above is overrun with zombies. The lumbering flesheaters eventually find a way in and wreak havoc on the scientists who've been experimenting on their undead brethren. |

Extended info about Day's reshoots: http://joblo.com/arrow/index.php?id=8257

We'll keep this one short and sweet: DAY OF THE DEAD scribe Jeffrey Reddick was kind enough to give me a few bits of wisdom concerning the M.I.A. remake of George Romero's classic.
I'm not sure when the movie's coming out. I know they're doing some reshoots very soon...and the production company, Nu Image, recently bought First Look...so they're still strategizing on the release date. They're aiming for a Fall release, but it depends on how quickly they get the reshoots done.
Is he penning the new pages?
Yeah, I'm doing the re-writing...for the most part. Steve [director Steve Miner] does like to write sometimes too though. The good news is that Nu Image is really behind the film. I was worried after the low box office of recent releases...but it hasn't spooked them.
Brief news, but still interesting. Reshoots don't automatically mean bad things - it at least shows the company has enough faith in the project that they're not just going to dump it. Apparently, they're still gunning for a theatrical release.
As soon as we hear more concerning the remake, we'll fire it up!

This was on late at 10 pm the other night and it was crap!! The director saw the remake of Dawn and thought well if the speed was what makes them scary I'll make them 4 times as fast and they climb ceilings and hang off!! The age of the participants is far too young and people turn to zombies after a nose bleed and turn to pale skin falling off as soon as they've turned.
1 out of 10 just because it was a zombi movie. _________________ http://zombi-blogia.blogspot.co.uk/

I've seen lame movies and still they looked OK to me. This one is lame and it was as interesting as a bug. No, wait, a bug is far more interesting to watch. _________________ Croquetas

It really was a silly american teenage movie with nothing to it's merit at all, I only made it through about half an hour and I couldn't be bothered with any of the characters or the ending. _________________ http://zombi-blogia.blogspot.co.uk/
