Qué tal amigos del foro!
Hola Peter!
Pues siento mucho haber llegado tarde y no haberte pasado la receta a tiempo del pan de muerto, veo que un amigo lector de tu blog ya la había pasado.
Aún así, y por no dejar la cosa inconclusa, decidí acabar con el recetario, así que aquí lo mando para que este 2 de Noviembre se nos unan en la celebración del día de muertos disfrutando de un azucarado y calentito pan de muertos.

Ultimamente no me metía mucho por el foro, pero ya estoy de vuelta. Gracias. Creo que me pongo a ello esta tarde o mañana (ya sé que tenía que tenerlo hecho ayer, pero... ¡no me da tiempo a nada!).

Me alegra que hayas vuelto nuevamente al búnker!!! por lo del post, tu no te apures, sólo espero que te haya quedado muy bueno tu pan.
Por estos lares mi familia me aplaudió la destreza culinaria de la cual no me había dado cuenta que poseo jajajajaja (modestia aparte verdad?)  jejejejejeje
Él pasado sábado 27 de octubre hice una prueba ayudado por mi novia, el resultado fue desastrozo pues nunca pudimos programar adecuadamente el horno y se nos echó a perder la masa que nos había quedado estupenda. El resultado después de casi desarmar el panel de controles fueron unos polvorones muy deliciosos. 
Ya habiéndole preguntado a mi madre acerca de cómo funcionaba el cacharro, hoy repetimos el experimento (casi casi a manera de revancha)quedándonos unos panes de muerto envidiables (para ser la primera vez que horneo). La familia aplaudió el logro y todos pudimos merendar una gran hogaza azucarada acompañada de una deliciosa taza de chocolate caliente. mmmmh
Bien, después de esta corta reseña, espero que hayas pasado un feliz día de muertos y seguimos en contacto para cualquier cosa que se ofrezca.

Pues en efecto, lo sucedido en el sur del país se ha convertido en una gran tragedia, personalmente no tengo amigos ni conocidos en la zona y los meteoros que producen esas catástrofes por allá rara vez nos suelen pegar de refilón acá en el norte, de hecho, no ha habido lluvias fuertes en varios meses por acá.
En fin, esperemos que en los próximos días se vaya regularizando la situación para todos mis hermanos tabasqueños. Ya sabes, con los despliegues de poder de la naturaleza nadie puede. En fin.

Pues antes de que noviembre termine, aquí les comparto lo que sucedío iniciando el mes. Presento orgullosamente nuestro gran triunfo culinario, nuestra primer producción de pan de muerto. Es justo decir y reconocer que mi novia tuvo mucho que ver en el amasado de los ingredientes y la mezcla de los mismos. Yo, para no quedarme atrás, programé el horno, engrasé los moldes y amasé la mezcla de la levadura.
Bien, pues aquí están los resultados:
Las piezas acabadas de salir del horno. Quisimos hacerlas lo más estéticas posibles, pero como panaderos novatos que somos, no se nos puede pedir más perfección. jejeje
Un acercamiento de uno de los deliciosos productos recién horneados, se puede incluso ver la crujiente cubierta azucarada yum yum yum!!...
Y aquí los orgullosos autores de la hazaña y la pequeña miembro del departamento de supervisión de calidad, quien sin miramientos devoró un par de regordetas piezas.
Y por último la foto del recuerdo de la quemada del demonio que me di en mi dedo gordo con el molde hirviendo, nótese el acopio de valentía y con que tranquilidad se abordó la situación jajaja ¡Auch!
Bien, pues eso es todo por el momento, espero para el próximo año tener fotos de sus faenas. Seguimos en contacto!

Great photos, I was a little scared at first when I saw the baking tray as I thought you had watched too many Benny Hill episodes and had the devils dumplings on your mind!! 
What a great family and house, you've ruined all my preconceptions now after wondering what Big Daddy would be like, while I of course am a real priest doing exorcisms each night, well fortnightly weather permitting.

You kill me Father! jejeje. In fact, everybody got two breads. To recognize which ones i have picked up I named them as "pamela anderson", my girlfriend´s as "Carmen Electra" and so on... jejejeje
I spent more time in the make up room than in the kitchen. It was too hard to cover all the rotten flesh, to match the color of the skin to look more "alive", find the missing teeth and spray half dozen of air freshners all over me. Anyway, the make up artists do their best. jejeje
Hope we could see you in action someday Father!

An old photo on my blogs and whiskyroom site, just imagine it plumped up a bit and the hair further back mixed with Pennywise from It after this sunless wet summer in the UK to get my true complexion and hairline!!

I do like to speak in tongues but usually with others!!! My Latin like my Spanish is very non existent but my dog collar is always starched and my holy water flask always full and they speak in all languages to the multiple eyed monsters of the ice realm of revelations and beyond

Well, If you say that your spanish is non existent, what about my not so well written english??
Anyway, the latin text says something like...

Well, If you say that your spanish is non existent, what about my not so well written english??
