Hope you all had a good Halloween yesterday.
We had a movie fest of Italian zombie horror, Flesh-eaters mostly and Resident Evil: Apocalypse which I'll watch again tonight as I fell asleep!!!!!!!! We had a pumpkin in that went mouldy on the morning of the 31st but maybe that is some how strangely right for the occasion!!!!!! In one of the old traditional festival in Scotland pumpkins were banned as too american and only turnips were allowed. Aye when I was a lad it were all turnips and they stank!!!!!!
What did anyone else do? Or is it just me that will be going into his 40's with childish glee

Hello there!
Well, i went out asking trick or treat with my girlfriend and her daughter.
-sigh-
and i felt once again like in the good old times of my own childhood. So, Father, you´re not the only one!! jejejeje
As usual, a week ago the catholic establisment launched a strong campaign against this "pagan, foreign and satanic" tradition. They urged the good flock to preserve our traditions and not to follow the devil´s work.
So, thanks to that, many doors we knocked were sealed afraid of the little candy chewer demons of the night (and a zombie, of course) but , what the hell, we almost filled our pumpkin and had a great time!!!
The sad thing was that a shipping of a pack of 50 classic horror movies i bought last week was delayed 3 more days, so, they did´nt make it for the movie marathon of the H day. what a pitty!

thanks for caring Father!
Thank God that storm didn´t hit us. it took place on a southern state far, far away from here. We even did´nt feel the storm after-effects, maybe because of the Eastern Sierra Madre, that acts like a shield for the northern states most of the time.
But well, as i said in another post, unfortunately, nature destructive display is unstoppable, can not be tamed as easy as we want it to be. I only hope this nightmare ends soon for my fellow countryman.
thanks again and see you soon! _________________ It ain´t over ´til it´s OVER! |
