I'm sure we discussed this somewhere but here goes again as I've just watched it.
Well it looks OK but not really much point to it, reinfection not really dramatic enough reason for the story, characters you didn't really care about except maybe the soldier and doctor but their killed off. Didn't mind it being a US led rebuild as they were bastards in the film when they open fire so that criticism sort of back fires but the story lacked story so even though the infected were still good you knew there were only so many as not that many infected and everyone else was already dead.
4 out of 10, looked OK but lacked any substance. _________________ http://zombi-blogia.blogspot.co.uk/

At first I liked 28 weeks later much more than the first movie. To me, 28 days later was awesome until the soldiers came in. But that was the very first time; watched it again the last year and then I had to change my mind (though I still like the first half rather than the ending).
28 weeks later is still a good movie to me, where action keeps growing during the whole film. And J.c. Fresnadillo did a great job here (VIVA ESPAÑA).

I think I liked the first one as it was everyone in the UK infected while the second one is only a small number so not so much destruction. I also like civilisations being destroyed so Dawn of the Dead, 28 Days Later, Day of the Triffids, Night of the Comet, when you get to see the beginning of the end always appeals more to me. The film was OK the beginning was good but it just lacked real story, it was more a good twilight zone episode than a film. _________________ http://zombi-blogia.blogspot.co.uk/

There are years of reasons for me to prefer Days than Weeks,
Weeks is only a kill-kill-kill-run-run-run movie, and Days was about postapocaliptic survivalism. _________________ Peter: Just rest, man. Save your strength.
