The film is good and the actors are brilliant at their roles BUT it is a smaller version of the original without some of the charm. Salems Lot remake added extra dimensions to the story that filled it out nad had it set in a colder climate that changed the setting while Poltergeist (2015) seemed like a very good abridged version of the the classic. I like the psychic in the original and nobody will ever out do her role and I love the feeling of the era of the original as well. Certain films whne people think it's time for a remake should just pay to get the original cleaned up and air back at cinemas again, I would definitley love to see the origianl Poltergeist at the cinema.
7/10 can't fail it on good story and film but bitesize flavour of the original.
